Augusto was born on 8 November 1984 in Anmacave, Portugal. He is of Cape Verdean and Guinea Bissau origin. He spent his early childhood in Portugal before moving to the Paris region, in the 91st arrondissement. His interests include figure skating and ice hockey, drawing, naive and industrial art, dance and traditional African music.

‘I know that aliens are here, all around us, among us, but deciphering their worlds, decoding them, that’s another story. They are infiltrated.’

His work ‘Rencontre du troisième type en Afrique’ (November 2024) will be exhibited at Busy as part of the ‘UFOs in Africa’ exhibition.
