On September 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Ô Ville-Âges association will host the “UFOs, BRICS and Geopolitics” Conference at its premises in Massy, France. The event is an initiative of the UAP Afrique collective.

The conference will focus on the positions adopted by BRICS countries — Brazil, Russia, China, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, among others — regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP/UFOs), against a backdrop of increasing international disclosure.

The event follows on from the historic conference held on June 29, 2026, at the French National Assembly, entitled “Research on Unidentified Aerospace Phenomena: Beyond Fantasy.”

Organized by Members of Parliament Arnaud Saint-Martin (LFI) and Pierre Henriet (Horizons), the conference brought together experts from GEIPAN (CNES), military personnel, sociologists and journalists to address the subject from a rational and scientific perspective, far removed from conspiracy theories.

It marked the first time the subject had officially entered the Palais Bourbon, home of the French National Assembly, with a focus on its history, French investigations and international comparisons, particularly with the Pentagon.

The Massy conference also echoes the U.S. declassification initiatives launched under the Trump administration. Several waves of documents have been released — including more than 160 files in the first batch published in May 2026 through the PURSUE/War.gov portal, followed by additional releases — originating from the Pentagon, FBI, NASA and other agencies.

Spanning decades, these archives include videos, photographs and reports, many of which remain “unresolved.” They also highlight the geopolitical dimension of the issue, including sightings near sensitive sites and possible competition with Russia and China.

FOCUS ON BRICS AND GEOPOLITICS

The conference aims to explore how the BRICS powers perceive and address the UFO issue, potentially viewing it through the lenses of technological sovereignty, intelligence and strategic narratives. Countries discussed will include Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt and Indonesia, among others.

UAP Afrique, which promotes an inclusive African perspective through exhibitions and the collection of witness testimonies, emphasizes that Africa, as the cradle of humanity, could enrich the global understanding of the phenomenon.
